Precision CNC Machining & Anodizing Services – Custom Metal Finishing Solutions

High-Quality CNC Machined Parts with Professional Anodizing

We offer precision CNC machining combined with expert anodizing services, delivering durable, corrosion-resistant, and aesthetically superior metal components. Our advanced manufacturing and surface treatment capabilities ensure tight tolerances (±0.005mm) and high-performance finishes for industries like aerospace, automotive, medical, and consumer electronics.

1. Basic Principle

Anodizing forms a thick, durable, and corrosion - resistant oxide layer on the surface of CNC machining parts through an electrochemical process. For aluminum parts, it leverages the metal's natural ability to oxidize, but in a controlled environment to create a more uniform and thicker oxide film compared to natural oxidation.

2. Process Steps

  • Pre - treatment: Clean the CNC - machined parts thoroughly to remove oils, debris, and machining residues. This ensures good adhesion of the anodized layer.
  • Anodizing Bath: Immerse the parts in an electrolyte solution (commonly sulfuric acid for aluminum). Pass an electric current, with the parts as the anode. Oxygen ions react with the metal surface, gradually building up the oxide layer.
  • Coloring (Optional): Dye the anodized layer to achieve different colors if required. The porous structure of the oxide layer can absorb dyes, and subsequent sealing can fix the color.
  • Sealing: Close the pores of the oxide layer, enhancing corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and color retention. Hot water sealing or chemical sealing are common methods.

3. Advantages

  • Corrosion Resistance: The anodized layer acts as a barrier, protecting CNC machining parts from environmental factors like moisture, chemicals, and UV rays, significantly extending service life.
  • Wear Resistance: Improves the surface hardness of parts, making them more resistant to abrasion, suitable for components with frequent contact or movement.
  • Aesthetic Appeal: Allows for coloring, providing options to match design requirements, enhancing the visual quality of products.
  • Adhesion for Coatings: The porous anodized surface can improve the adhesion of paints or other coatings if further finishing is needed.
