1. The cutting edge of the mold must be sharpened after long-term use. After grinding, the cutting edge surface must be demagnetized and cannot be magnetic, otherwise material blockage may easily occur. Enterprises that use molds must make detailed records and statistics on their use, care (lubrication, cleaning, rust prevention) and damage. Based on this, they can find out which parts and components have been damaged and the degree of wear, so as to provide information for discovering and solving problems. As well as the molding process parameters of the mold and the materials used in the product, in order to shorten the test run time of the mold and improve production efficiency. The various properties of the mold should be tested under normal operation of the injection molding machine and mold, and the dimensions of the final molded plastic part should be measured. Through this information, the current status of the mold can be determined, and the cavity, core, cooling system and other factors can be found. Where the damage is on the parting surface, etc., based on the information provided by the plastic part, the damage status of the mold and maintenance measures can be determined.
2. Spring and other elastic parts are most susceptible to damage during use, and often break and deform. The solution is to replace. During the replacement process, you must pay attention to the specifications and models of the springs. The specifications and models of the springs are confirmed by color, outer diameter, and length. They can only be replaced if the three items are the same. The springs are of imported quality.
3. During the use of the mold, the punch is prone to breakage, bending and gnawing, and the punch sleeve is generally gnawed. Damaged punches and punch bushings are generally replaced with parts of the same specification. The parameters of the punch mainly include working part size, installation part size, length size, etc.
4. Fasten the parts and check whether the fastening parts are loose or damaged. The method adopted is to find parts of the same specification and replace them.
5. Pressing parts such as pressing plate, urethane, etc., and unloading parts such as stripper plate, pneumatic ejector, etc. During maintenance, check the relationship between the accessories of each part and whether there is any damage, repair the damaged parts, check the pneumatic ejection for air leakage, and take measures for specific situations. If the air pipe is damaged, replace it. It is necessary to focus on tracking and testing several important parts of the mold: the function of the ejection and guide parts is to ensure the opening and closing movement of the mold and the ejection of plastic parts. If any part of them is stuck due to damage, it will cause production to stop, so it should be maintained regularly. Lubricate the ejector pins and guide posts of the mold (the most suitable lubricant must be selected), and regularly check whether the ejector pins, guide posts, etc. are deformed and have surface damage. Once found, they must be replaced in time; after completing a production cycle, the working surface of the mold must be inspected , moving and guide parts are coated with professional anti-rust oil, and special attention should be paid to protecting the elastic strength of the bearing parts of the gear and rack molds and the spring molds to ensure that they are always in the best working condition; as the production time continues , the cooling channel is prone to deposit scale, rust, silt and algae, etc., making the cooling channel cross-section smaller and the cooling channel narrower, greatly reducing the heat exchange rate between the coolant and the mold, and increasing the production cost of the enterprise, so the cleaning of the channel Attention should be paid; for hot runner molds, the maintenance of heating and control systems is particularly important because it helps prevent production failures.
